                                                                                     The rotor and motor magnets are usually using segments,

                                                                                     rings or trapezoidal shapes, which be used in different 

                                                                                     motor&rotors, such as permanent magnet motor, AC 

                                                                                     motor, DC motor, linear motor, brushless motor and so on. 

                                                                                     At present, the main magnets use in motors are below 

                                                                                     three kinds of materials:

                                                                                    1.Samarium cobalt magnet, with high temperature (400 ℃), but the price is relatively high, that makes this material is rarely used.

    2.Ferrite magnet, because the high temperature (400 ℃ or so) is better than NdFeB. 

    But if requires Ferrite magnets process technics to match the micro-motor application, or even requires sophisticated, the process costs are extremely high, while the scrap rate is also high, because of its own characteristics that are easy to break or wear or tear.

    3.The most advantageous material is NdFeB strong magnet materials including Sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. The permanent magnet motor assembled with NdFeB magnets is small in size, light in weight, high in inertia ratio, high in response to servo system, high in power and speed / weight ratio, high starting torque and saving electricity.

     

    Most of the shapes of magnets for motors are segments, ring or

    trapezoidal, and are usually driven by the attraction and repulsive

    forces of motor magnets and rotor magnets. Generally, radial 

    couple magnetized magnets are assemblied as a whole rings ,

    because Sintered NdFeB is anisotropic material,which is hard to 

    make the complex magnetization direction. Presently,there are

    radially magnetized of Sintered NdFeB magnets used in motors, 

    but still lots of restrictions on the size or the grades, and the 

    magnetic properties are very unstable, consistency is very bad, 

    while the mold coil and magnetic fixture are very expensive.

     

    With the development of industrial, motor magnets demand are very widely, the magnet is its core components.In the most of micro motor, small and medium-sized motors and large generators are used NdFeB magnet. Because of the particularity of its working environment, it is generally used by H, SH and higher grades.If the customer can provide details of its working environment, EMT will choose the most reasonable material and performance for customers.

     

    Segments Assemblied 

    There are two kinds ways of magnets installation, one is used in low speed, it is bonded with industrial adhesive. One is used in high speed, it is bonded with industrial adhesive and then fixed with stainless steel 

                                                                                                                 sleeve. But most of magnet motors 

                                                                                                                 outside are to be rubber coated or 

                                                                                                                 plastic coated/liquid epoxy glue after it 

                                                                                                                 is bonded with adhesive, the main 

                                                                                                                 function is fixing and the magnet motor 

                                                                                                                 can prevent the iron material from

                                                                                                                 adsorbing to the surface of the magnet 

                                                                                                                 that is not properly removed, or                                                                                                                            removed but destroy the magnet 

                                                                                                                 coating.

     

                                                                                                                 Advantage and Application

                                                                                                                 Sintered NdFeb magnets are used in

                                                                                                                 different motors, such as permanent

                                                                                                                 magnet motor, AC motor, DC motor, 

    linear motor, brushless motor, etc. And the electromagnetic motor through the excitation coil to produce magnetic potential source is different from the permanent magnet motor that is a permanent magnet material to produce a constant magnetic potential source. Permanent magnet instead of electric excitation has many advantages, that makes the motor structure is simple, easy maintenance, light weight, small size, reliable use, low copper consumption, low energy consumption.
